Riva Yachts, part of the Italian Ferretti Group, launched the first hull of their new RIVA 88 FOLGORE model in La Spezia. Measuring 26.80m in length, the RIVA 88 FOLGORE yacht has been created on the drawing boards of Officina Italiana Design teaming up with the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and Product Strategy Committee.
Inspired by the automotive industry and sports cars, the luxury motor yacht RIVA 88 FOLGORE is characterized by an all-new stern concept with the garage door swinging open to sit in two positions, either parallel to the water line or immersed in order to ease the tender launch and to provide a small 6 square meter beach club. Being a performance open motor yacht with the word "folgore" meaning lighting strike in Italian, RIVA 88 FOLGORE is fast catching one's eye with its dynamic and aggressive yet elegant look. Being a guaranteed head-turner wherever this sleek yacht may appear, motor yacht RIVA 88 FOLGORE does not forget about livable spaces onboard perfectly implemented in the 22sqm cockpit comprising a large sofa, bar, and table, using modern materials and combinations of steel, wood, glass, and marble.
RIVA 88 FOLGORE luxury motor yacht features a distinguishing large glass hardtop on the superstructure which can be opened towards the bow and stern allowing fresh air and the sun to flood the interior. The layout of the new RIVA 88 FOLGORE has been designed to offer sleeping for up to 8 guests in 4 deluxe double cabins. The full-beam master suite located amidships is available in three different layouts, whilst the VIP is always located forward with two more double guest ensuite cabins.

We do not know if the first unit of the new Riva 88 Folgore will be available for charter. It's too early to know that, but we are sure that there will be a RIVA 88 FOLGORE for charter in the future.
