The Dutch Royal Huisman shipyard revealed new details and renderings of their superyacht project PHI in-build. Designed by Cor D. Rover responsible for the exterior and interior design.

The length has now been confirmed with 58.5m making PHI the world's longest luxury superyacht in the below 500 GT class. Built entirely of aluminium with Van Oossanen naval architecture's fuel-efficient XL Fast Displacement Hull Form, PHI will feature a sleek low hull and superstructure profile and a range of subtle hints to the natural world that surrounds the yacht.

Cor D. Rover commented on the design: "Rather than just building a large yacht on a so-called shipyard ‘platform’ to enjoy the pleasures of being at sea, the owner of Phi wanted to build a yacht with a profound underlying story, a deep-rooted knowledge that runs through all aspects of the yacht, from her exterior appearance all the way to internal experience."

Some of the notable features of PHI include the patented DEPP swimming pool, a pool that requires a minimum amount of freshwater thanks to easily converting into a sealed tank. Once the pool is not in use overnight, the water is heated and treated avoiding water to be pumped into a separate dedicated dump tank. Furthermore, guests on board will be able to use the pool cover as an additional space for leisure, and enjoying their splash within minutes at the touch of a button. PHI is also going to have an infinite wine-cellar in the lower deck lobby. How this is going to look like will be revealed soon, but it is already clear now, that PHI will be a technically advanced luxury motor yacht breaking rules, one that stands out with nice amenities and features as well as a breathtaking design.

Superyacht PHI will have a layout for 12 guests sleeping in utmost luxury and comfort. The master stateroom will be located on the upper deck to ensure the main deck will be available for daytime guest activities. The guest cabins with the crew quarter for up to 11 staff will be located on the lower deck. The interior styling will come from Lawson Robb completing the layout concept of Cor D. Rover. Gyro-stabilizers will provide stability and comfort in all sea conditions and the cruising speed is indicated with fast 22 knots.

Royal Huisman's PHI will also have a 36m/118ft shadow vessel in megayacht-manner matching the styling and design of PHI. Not only the support vessel will feature the same hull color, but also the limo tender will feature a design with the signature of Cor D. Rover and the patented Fast Displacement Hull by Oossanen.

The launch of Royal Husiman PHI is scheduled for 2021 with more details to be revealed soon.
