We are proud to welcome the First 44 world premier for charter available from our base in Split, Croatia. Built in 2023 as a true performance cruiser by the French Beneteau shipyard, charter yacht First 44 represents a recent shift towards designs that are rewarding sailing in light winds. In the past good sailing performance in light airs was all too often managed by oversized rigs and the lack of ballast, which on the other hand came at the expense of ability in strong winds. Designed on the drawing boards of Roberto Biscontini, the First 44 is not only a smaller First Yacht 53 flagship, the 44 benefits from its hull shape with a narrower waterline beam and deeper canoe body. All deck hardware of charter yacht First 44 in Croatia underlines the sporty character: benches allowing to steer while sitting facing forward, or thanks to the decent folding foot chocks for use when standing, lines led aft through conduits to the banks of clutches, stoppers and winches, sheets led via conventional towed jib tracks on the coachroof, and also the German-style mainsheet is taken to a single point on the cockpit sole between the wheels from where it is operated by winches on the coaming each side ahead of the helms. Our First 44 is also fitted with the lighter, but deeper 2.6m draught keel, with iron fin and lead torpedo bulb for additional performance.
First 44 yacht for rent also scores with comfortable amenities such as teak laid in the cockpit but also on the deck allowing guests to unwind enjoying the Adriatic Sea in style. Below the deck, a 220V air condition unit in the salon comes as a practical feature together with a useful inverter and Bluetooth sound. Accommodation is for 6-7 guests sleeping in three double cabins sharing two bathrooms.
