We are excited to welcome the first Excess 12 available for catamaran charter Croatia! Built by the French Beneteau shipyard and based on the popular Lagoon 40 multihull, the Excess 12 is unique and represents its own distinctive model driven by our yachtsmen's feedback and the need for an open and light catamaran. The result is an enhanced connection to the sea and a more intimate direct sailing experience. Furthermore, there is this sportier look that captivates even monohull sailors in search of something new, those looking for that adventurous holiday with the wind-in-hair-experience, but without compromises to stability and comfort, and without losing the interaction with other guests on board.
Charter catamaran Excess 12 has no flybridge and guests renting this new yacht do not want one. They want to share the passion of sailing and therefore the twin helm stations with double seats are located on both hulls. Before you think that this outboard arrangement and cockpit layout will mean bad visibility and exposure to the elements, check out how the Excess 12 solved it. Wrapping in from outboard the bimini structure provides shade and cover. Excellent visibility is also provided to the opposite bow thanks to the generous use of clear windows rather than tinted glass allowing yachtsmen to see through the salon for an unobscured view.
Our first Excess 12 for charter catamarans will be based in Istria, Pula and in southern Dalmatia, Dubrovnik with more models to join our other bases on the Adriatic. Accommodation is for 8-10 guests sleeping in 4 double cabins and up to two separate skipper cabins forward. The layout offers 4 bathrooms and an open salon with the adjacent aft cockpit perfect for socializing, alfresco-dining, or simply unwinding.
