Heesen shipyard sells project Necto, Heesen’s 45M Sportster

Heesen announced the sale of project NECTO the first 45M fly bridge vessel (YN17145) and at the same time the largest sportster ever built by a northern European shipyard.

Speed, power and all aluminium hulls does not sound like anything new from the Dutch superyacht Neither the MTU 16V 4000 M73L engines powering up to 30 knots (12knots cruising speed), combined with contemporary modern sleek interiors offering comfort and luxury reflecting the guarantee of all successful Heesen superyachts.

True to form Laupman (Omega Architects), who designed the exterior lines of NECTO, has interpreted the Dutch shipyard DNA with a touch of innovation by introducing the “knuckle“ – a design element that interrupts the line of the raked bow and gives this new breed of Heesen, with its much sharper and narrower bow, a particularly aggressive look.

The interior is having the signature of designer Cristiano Gatto who cooperated with Heesen for already his third project. The result is quite impressive: main veneer of finest Canalleto walnut in perfect interaction of light Loro Piana fabrics and pale blue soft furnishings allowing guests indulging themselves in tranquil and modern surroundings.

The luxurious accommodation comes with a full beam master cabin on main deck and two double and two twin bed cabins on the lower deck. Special attention has been given to the outdoor area with ample space on the sundeck. This 84 square meter deck area features non fixed furniture allowing guests to have their work out and exercises whilst enjoying a beautiful panorama and sunlight.

The delivery of Heesen project NECTO is expected for January 2016 after sea trials taking place in the North Sea.
