Baltic Yacht 142 CANOVA | take a look at the keel assembly

Baltic Yachts is preparing the launch of their much-anticipated luxury performance yacht CANOVA, a supercharged and foil-assisted Baltic 142 characterized by being the first superyacht to feature the Dynamic Stability System. The well-proven DSS deploys an almost 30 feet long athwartships foil boosting speed, reducing heel and pitch motion. A major engineering challenge for the naval architects of Farr Yacht Design, since the foil will move at the push of a button through the athwartships case beneath the owner's stateroom and all the carbon structure.

Thanks to this high-tech engineering Baltic Yacht 142 CANOVA will reach maximum speeds of 25 knots in flat seas at 25 knots of wind (160 tons loaded).

Power on board of Baltic 142 will be provided by a pair of generators and a lithium-ion battery bank enabling her to operate longer periods in silent-ship-mode. The launch of this breath-taking beauty is scheduled for the end of May. Enjoy the video of the keel assembly at the Finish shipyard and stay in touch for more...
